152 year old establishment mixed in with modern vibes.

 

City Tap House is a new concept in a fun local watering hole that maximizes customer self-service, sampling of beers/wines/spirits, and envisioned to serve a wide enough set of alcohol and food tastes to serve a diverse market.  Our Goal for the City Tap House is to provide Nebraska City, it and its surrounding area assessed as an untapped market for our Tap House offering and approach, a fun, casual, family accessible place for spirits and food sure to create a comfortable reoccurring clientele basis.  We have designed a digital tap house where the patrons can serve themselves with craft beers, wines, and possibly Kombucha and cold coffees of all kinds. We will also have a small kitchen with food to compliment the array of drinks and a spirit bar. These core offerings create a basis upon which future development plans can even open up the opportunity for subsequent revenue sources through the sales of cigars and a Nano Brewery. 

Nebraska City is the focal point for many tourism activities such as the local Orchards, Outdoor adventures, History/Museum, Arts and Shopping. Additionally, Nebraska City is homage to Arbor Day and the Applejack Festival.

The facility we started our tap room business in has the approximate capacity of at least 58 seats or more. It also has enough space to accommodate our kitchen, storage room, two bathrooms and a walk-in cooler. Most importantly a beautiful and very impressive 100-year-old 30-foot Cherry wood bar back with large mirrors and wine racks at each end. The bar was shipped in from Portland Oregon’s old China Town where the famous Shanghai tunnels were used in the past and toured to this day. 

Our establishment will be relaxing and facilitative for networking and socializing, or simply to have a great time. We are not going to struggle to attract customers because of the positioning of our tap room, but we will strive to build a loyal customer base by offering unique flavored beer, wine, spirits and food in a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
